Mr. George Kakala has served in leadership capacity since college. Lauded as a tenacious and unflinching advocate for diversity initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of children/persons with special needs in Kenya, he led sweeping changes throughout his term as chairman and Executive Director at Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya; initiating the first privately owned community rehabilitation centre in Kenya for children/persons afflicted by Cerebral Palsy (CP). In collaboration with USAID Kenya team Mr. Kakala oversaw day-to-day smooth implementation of the USAID-funded projects in Rift Valley and Western Kenya where he pioneered the introduction of sustainability concept in the management of donor funded projects in Western Kenya. Mr. Kakala who is a nonprofit management specialist is a founder chairman and executive director of Foundation for Tomorrow. He is an active member of numerous committees and associations including Catholic Men Association, Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya and Because All Children Matter, Canada. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Development Studies at Open University Tanzania.
Ms. Naomi Nyoike is a resourceful, dependable and enthusiastic professional possessing considerable experience in project management. She holds a Masters of Science in social work from the great St. Elizabeth University Slovak republic in collaboration with the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and Bachelor's degree in social work and community health from the same institution. She has also pursued a certificate in Counseling psychology. Naomi has been working as a programs officer and a project manager for Kuza project and Imarisha Maisha project at UTena Youth organization. She is a strategist who strives to ensure quality in everything that she touches to ensure the organization attains set targets and goals. Naomi has a passion of empowering the community and championing rights of minors and the vulnerable in the community.
Mr. Solomon Nyamweya has been working with the special needs organizations supporting the vulnerable and the needy in the community especially children and persons with disability. With a rich experience of more than five years Solomon is able to address the needs of affected persons through identification, assessment and doing referrals to specialized facilities. He is a graduate with bachelor of social work and social administration with diploma in project planning and management. Solomon is resourceful, self-driven, hardworking, passionate, a good time manager and reliable person.
Mrs. Zipporah Komon is a holder of bachelor’s degree in business management, finance and banking thus she is a resourceful person in recording and keeping financial records. She is a strategist who strives to ensure quality in everything that she does to ensure the organization attains set targets and goals. She will play a key role during the implementation of our flagship project in the region: Community Based Rehabilitation and Care (CBRC) program.
Mr. Chebii Philip Kiprotich is young dynamic and result driven Occupational Therapist who holds a diploma and degree (BSC) in Occupational Therapy. He offers the best rehabilitation support services to the physical, psychological and social challenged members of the society. He is the principal advisor to our rehabilitation department.
Ms. Dorothy Juma holds a group diploma in marketing from London, Bachelor's degree in sociology/international social work from University of Gävle in Sweden, and Master's degree in Rural Development and Naturalatural Resource Management from Swedish university of Agricultural Science. She is currently based in Stockholm.
